I think some TRAs are trying to re-write the definition of “cis” to mean simply “not trans” rather than “I identify with the gender assigned to me at birth”, as then it is harder to say you reject it.

I’m not on Twitter but suggest those who are point out the correct meaning of “cis” whenever “but it just means not trans!” is rolled out.

Oh yes, there's a bloke on Facebook I ended up looking at the timeline of the other day, and the only mark of being trans was 'she/her' pronouns in the bio.
Big, full beard, looked like the average male and had a timeline full of complaints about feminist memes that had the word 'woman' in if they referenced female biology.
Aggressively rude and MRA talking points the whole way. Which, to be fair, along with the 'she/her' pronouns schtick, is also increasingly, a trans identifier.

Ok, so if trans no longer means transitioning, presumably these non-transitioning trans people aren’t protected under the EA2010 because they’re not, never have been and have no intention of undergoing a process of transitioning?

They just want access to women’s spaces because they're men and are used to getting their own way? So just male entitlement, then?
