Anyone up for this? Mermaids will be there. Should be fun.

Eventbrite also thinks I would "like" this:

Suitable for children in upper KS2, this multi-lesson pack can be delivered as a half-term PSHE block, really exploring what it means to be trans or non-binary today, by looking back at people and events from history. We also explore key concepts, evolving language, as well as considering how we create trans positive and inclusive spaces through children’s own ideas and actions.

Ereshkigal I didnt realise The Proud Trust was also providing training for schools.

Proud Trust is Manchester/Cheshire based and both Stephen Whittle & Christine Burns (Press For Change) are patrons.

I think they (along with NUS & Action For Trans Health) were supposed to be dealing with Safeguarding issues following allegations by members against Jess Bradley.

what it means to be trans or non-binary today, by looking back at people and events from history.

How are they going to know that women who disguised themselves as men, and men who enjoyed wearing women's clothes in private, actually thought of themselves as being the opposite sex/trapped in the wrong body? Trans and non-binary are modern concepts.

No, it goes back much further. The roles of Press For Change, Beaumont Society, GIRES, Gendered Intelligence, the Gender Identity Clinics etc discussed on important thread:
