Posie not being charged

Posie has just done a live video, she's not being charged but only as they ran out of time to charge her for public order.

The police were going to pursue it in the name of public interest (sounds like SG dropped the charges but the police decided to pursue regardless).

Worth watching to get the full story.

WPUK together with their connected We Need To Talk group have been reported to the police counter terrorist unit as a hate group

ROTFL

Oh bless. I'm sure they'll get a very kind letter back Wink

They don't seem to be very effective

Well, we know what to do then don't we. Start flexing those writing muscles Smile

Don’t the police, police the police? This is always put forward as the reason that nothing changes. If someone’s is killed by a police officer then a neighbouring force will investigate and confirm that all was above board, nothing to see here, carry on. I think some of these investigations are carried out on behalf of The independent Police Complaints Commission.

Eventually, if it’s still clear that something is awry (Hillsborough) then the Home Secretary will announce a public enquiry.

(Licks pencil)... what’s the name of the Home Sec again?

Waste of police resources / embarrassing decisions would be of interest to police & crime commissioners as they hold the budget. I think most up for reelection next May.

As often mentioned on Twitter, this is enforced from the top down, and rumour has it that the police actually policing loathe it and don't agree.

Very symptomatic of a political system that has disappeared up its own, very expensive, highly ideological and wanky bum and has lost all touch with the people they are paid by to deliver services to - while insisting that those people are stupid, ignorant and need compulsory being good done to re educating. Heavy punishment at elections is ahead, but considering the total chaos of Brexit which was largely about voter punishment/anger at the level of disengagement and not being listened to, things will get worse before they get better.

I think the police would be best to take a step back and consider if they are being ‘played’.

It’s happened before - look at the ongoing paedophile ring case (where the accuser is in the dock accused of making the whole thing up - and has been exposed as a paedophile himself) and the Orkney sex abuse rings (and others).

The facts sounded far fetched (but then we trust the police ‘no smoke without fire etc) and the lack of checks made is gob smacking.

If I was told that as a child, X was regularly taken out of class by men and saw 3 named kids murdered, wouldn’t you check school records and actually try to track down these kids (dead or alive?).

Don’t even get me started in the ones who acted in full public sight - who were ‘known’ by a lot of people but got away with it (tv personalities and politicians who even gave the creeps as a small child in the 70s).
