Thanks to you all. I'm an infrequent poster but constant reader of FWR. Like another poster I feel in a GC wilderness with my friends but I've recently started following twitter too and finding a number of GC people to follow locally. Maybe in 2019 I'll get braver and start re-tweeting and posting a bit more.

Actually, not especially feminist, but right now I'd go for banning fireworks on animal welfare terms, our poor dog is shivering with fright.

I'm glad 2018 is coming to a close. Big gratitude for this community of sisters. I wish USA feminists had half as much insight, humor and resolve. Much love and many blessings for next year!

It's not quite 2019 where I am, so I'm still looking forward to next year - here's to a return of common sense, best practice safeguarding and liberation

I'm going to kick off my new year of feminism with a trip to see On The Basis of Sex, which is out next year here. When does it open in the UK?

My New Year resolution is to write, perhaps a letter a week, to organisations relevent to me, calling out any inaccurate conflation of sex and gender. I am only one, but we are many, and if enough voices are raised we will be heard.

A belated Happy New Year to all. Mine was a bust. A budget transatlantic airline dumped us onto an even more budget Spanish charter, the sort where you know what hair products the person in the row in front uses. I plan to order a LeedsSpinners t shirt as compensation to myself.
