This came up in my notifications this morning. She is fearless! I thought I’d share here as it would be an good conversation to have with the intelligent women of FWR.

In the light of people finally smelling the coffee & seeing that the left is full of racist and sexist melts I am just going to say it: None of the black women Corbyn has promoted have got there via merit. They have all been used as tokens and are not qualified for the roles.

This is intentional as people like Corbyn cannot deal with successful minorities especially if they are women. But they also don’t want their deep held racism to show so they cherry pick people who will take the roles given to them, say what they are told and who are dispensable.

Poor Kate Osamor is finding this out after years in the Party and on the left. I say poor Kate because it’s sad to see how blind she and many are, but she is not a victim and needs to give the whole they let me down a break. She knew what she was doing. She knew and benefited.

My initial reaction was shock and admiration for someone saying this ‘out loud’, but my gut response is agreement. Although it is a very sweeping statement.

Wow. So many of the men I work with got to positions of authority, status and privilege not because of merit, but because they have dicks. For some reason no one questions that, or, if they do, they are accused of being a bitter man-hater.

When I hear talk about re-introducing another form of section 28 for the trans community, I think – you’ve got to be kidding,” she said

“All of that pain that a whole community went through, you want to put another community through that pain? Why the hell would you do that? It’s outrageous.

“So we have to stand up and fight against that, and campaign against that and make sure it never happens,” she said

Where is she hearing this? No one is making such claims.

This seems to have originated with the Emma Healey (?) MN intern responsible for the data breach.

In the blog, she used a sarcastic comment by a MN poster who was supportive of trans rights eg 'Well you could call for a new Section 28' etc out of context.

THe blog was withdrawn with EH's apology but some prominant and politically active TRAs continued to repost it along with the allegation. The LibDem LGBT+ twitter acount was very active in doing this.

It has been absorbed and repeated by many as truth.

Dawn Butler spoke of 'a social media platform' calling for a new Section 28 in her House of Commons speech on the day of awareness of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia May 2018:

This refers to those who object to the primary curriculum telling children that people can change sex and that boys can have periods and all the other quasi-religious, anti-science bullcrap they let lobby groups into schools to preach.

Thinking that this shouldn't be happening in primary schools is, apparently, advocating for a new Section 28.

I know you think we make an almighty fuss around here, Lass, but really - this is what we're up against.

Dawn Butler being in charge of anything important is scary- she is monumentally thick.
After watching her speak at that recent debate in parliament, I agree. The one where she accused David Davies of insensitivity thus:
"You made a comment about people who are “unfortunate enough” to suffer from gender dysphoria. That has very negative connotations, just as it used to be said that people were “unfortunate enough” to be gay, to be a woman or to be black."
Give me strength.
