Quite upsetting article from the States.

I'm sorry that I worded it insensitively. What I was trying to say was that MRAs always use male suicide figures as their comparison against the figures for women who are murdered. But if any of those men have first killed someone else (and not just in the form of killing a partner, but killing anyone else at all) then I personally don't feel that my sympathy lies with them, but rather with their victim.

I don't think many people would be overly sympathetic towards a murder/suicide type of situation, but it's a bit like asking how many of the murdered woman tried to stab their husband before he killed them.

84 male suicides weekly against two women murdered definitely suggests that lots of men are just killing themselves without killing anybody else. But I agree that MRAs weaponise this statistic like TRAs do with intersex people and it's pretty reprehensible.
