Stonewall Champion School - HT asks 'what safeguarding concerns?

So my son's Stonewall Champion school has replied to me after I raised concerns about Stonewall. He said he'd look into it and came back to me asap (possibly after a quick Google)

HT says it is proud to be an inclusive school and then sent me several negative news stories around TransgenderTrend (after I suggested these as an alternative)

Next steps? Lisa Muggeridge, I need you!

If the link works it is for the current government document "keeping children safe in education". Shown to me by a teacher friend. Pretty comprehensive instructions on safeguarding. I'm going to use it to back up my concerns when I go to my DC's school as it is the document they should be working from.

It's quite long.

A key point for me was on p7 Staff working with children are advised to maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’ where safeguarding is concerned. This attitude seems to be missing from those who seek to minimise safeguarding concerns re, for example, effectively making toilets mixed sex.

I would also ask if they have evidence that not only has every member of staff and all governors read KCSIE 2018, but that they all understand how it informs their practice in schools.

You should be able to ask any member of staff a question which refers to KCSIE and get an answer that shows they understand what their responsibilities are in that respect.

It’s not enough just to have read it and signed that you have.

Trying to wade through Stonewall's 'Sexuality and Gender' document now.

The Stonewall materials have a glossary of terms. I see gender dysphoria is completely missing from its list, whereas gender reassignment (which they say doesn't have to include surgery or hormones) cisgender intersex and transexual are included. Why not gender dyshoria eh?
