The facts appear to be:

• the complainant is accused of harassing salon workers
• the complainant is anonymous even while those at the salon are not
• the complainant used a male name but claimed to have 'transitioned', whatever the fuck that means
• the service is described as a 'Manzillian', presumably this means cock & balls, though this is not clear

Obviously in addition to the right of salon workers not to be forced to wax cocks, they would likely not be trained in dick waxing, as it's a completely different procedure

If any transwoman wants to risk having the skin ripped off her scrotum, by all means.....

I don't think that any waxing took place. It was literally a case of 'Hello my name is Brian, I am a woman, I want a Brazillian', then wait for the reaction, if the reaction was 'sure thing', then they would say 'Sorry I changed my mind', and if it was 'fuck off', then they would try to ruin their day.

What part of "being trained on how to wax a vulva does not mean that a person knows how to safely wax balls" does this person not understand?

I feel like we need a term for this sort of specific fixated one-issue querulous complainer. Like "vexatious lawsuits", but more specific.

Is this complainant saying it’s illegal in canada to specialise in women’s cosmetic/personal services AND not to have fully trained for qualifications in every aspects of Male cosmetic/personal services under self ID?

I can’t see small business owners being able to fund the full ramifications of legal gender self ID.

This lawsuit may be a good thing. It should be obvious to everyone that the skills and techniques needed to wax men and women would be different, and staff may not be trained or want to perform the procedure on both men and women.

It highlights that we need words, particularly for women and girls, that everyone understands that mean something. There are lots of male transpeople that use the words woman, girl, female, vagina and vulva to describe themselves and their body. This leaves women and business no words to describe themselves and the services they perform that are for women's bodies.

I think it’s telling that the second individual mentioned in the article could have waited for a trained member of staff to wax their cock and balls, but wanted a Muslim woman to be forced to do it.

And this is the difference between 'true trans' and TRAs right? Some people want a GRC so they can just live as best they can, with a minimum of hassle to themselves. TRAs seem to want it so they can demand things, so they can make people treat them as women on pain of prosecution.

The first is accommodation, the second is a complete takeover.

'True trans' in the sense of wanting to crack on with a quiet life and make piece with your dysphoria, yes, I would say there are. True trans as in, really having a woman's brain inside a man's body? No, completely impossible.

Is this a genuine attempt to shut down businesses that cater for women - I really think it is a malicious, calculated and deadly serious effort to remove places in public life where women gather without men.

Any legal ‘requirement’ for female or male workers to perform intimate cosmetic or personal care on male clients’ genitalia is wrong.

It will drive people out of their jobs who can’t accept that they have to do this.

Equally as a female customer in regards to your own genitalia, you should ALWAYS be able to request a woman and NEVER pressured or forced to accept a man performing any kind of intimate personal care, beauty services (same goes for health care)
