Janice Turner has also been doing a great job on this, so that's two. Out of how many?

LangCleg · 21/07/2018 11:43

Andrew Gilligan.

These are the only three I can think of who are providing anything more than opinion pieces (and we all know there are ten TRA opinion pieces to every one GC piece).

Hadley has indeed been sticking her head over the parapet. And not to in any way slight her, because she's great, but all the investigative journalists who're failing to do the same ought to have a bit of a think about why the fashion columnist is doing actual journalism better than they are.

Yes. WHERE is the investigative journalism on all the safeguarding issues we keep bringing up? It's not as though it's anybody's opinion. It's there. In black and white. In trans lobby guidance. Where is the journalist willing to research and compare safeguarding statutory guidance with trans lobby guidance?

Yes sorry both, I got disracted and the post above is out of sinc- not a response to your comments.

Completely agree, with regards need for investigative journalism.

It feels like we are still very much stuck in the 'there must be balance, let's get NIgel Lawson to comment on climate change'

It is not acceptable. These are such serious matters

"And now, to follow our segment on this maritime disaster, a member of the Flat Earth Society will explain how it's 100% possible to sail off the edge of the world."

Yes, lurking journos - MNers have already done a lot of the legwork. It shouldn’t be too much trouble to join the dots.
