Is FWR anti feminist?

I am risking a ban here, but I feel I need to post this.

As we all know the new guidelines were rolled out and we asked if the 3 strikes policy would be across the board, Justine replied and I've screenshotted her reply below.

Yesterday I was part of a particularly nasty thread where one poster was deleted numerous times for openly racist comments towards the Irish.

I reported the posts and asked if the 3 strikes stance would be taken, as per New guidelines.

The reply was no and the email has been attached.

So. There we have it. Racism is ok on MN. Biology and correct use of the English language is not.

But half the time I see 'MRA' or 'male troll' directed at anybody who dares to voice an opinion which disagrees with the regulars on here, especially if they are new to this board. It's not very healthy or welcoming to new posters.

thebewilderness · 16/07/2018 20:39

Why would you expect a Feminist and Women's Rights board to be welcoming?
Feminism is a political movement, not a social club.

LastGirlOnTheLeft · 16/07/2018 20:46

Coco do you wander into a men's rights forum and expect them to welcome you?? REALLY?

🤨

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 16/07/2018 20:52

Oh shit sorry coco

Thatll teach me not to press refresh

HotRocker · 16/07/2018 21:33

If you come on here excusing racist jokes you’re probably not going to get the welcome mat rolled out.

Somerville · 16/07/2018 21:56

Coco you got your arse handed to you because you are either clueless or as goady as fuck. Saying that anti-Irish sentiment is less "topical and inflammatory" than trans issues - when I'd already pointed out the significance of the date. (Google "12th July Northern Ireland" if this means nothing to you.).

CocoFlannel9 · 16/07/2018 21:58

I'm not excusing them at all. I'm just pointing out that the trans issue is a much more sensitive one right now. If it isn't, then why are half the topics on this board about trans, and why are the administration only policing trans related comments?

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 16/07/2018 22:06

nd why are the administration only policing trans related comments

Yeah

Id love the answer to that question as well

Amalfimamma · 16/07/2018 22:53

why are the administration only policing trans related comments
