As far as I can see, MN only delete (and warn and ban) posters who are reported. It seems there is a hitlist of posters who are reported whatever they post. It also seems there are some hq-ers who operate on the principle of "if in doubt, delete".

I feel like I,m posting on tippytoes to the extent that any post I compose becomes so contrived that it’s meaning is useless.. So I delete it and then get doubly frustrated that I’m not pulling my weight.

Me too Antique - I’ve deleted about 6 or 7 long posts tonight as I just wasn’t sure and by the time I’d edited and rewritten the thread had moved on and others had said it anyway! It’s getting very frustrating but tbh if I get banned I don’t give a fuck anymore. I would get to bed on time and get more work done so it would be a blessing! Maybe I should save all 3 strikes for a big Fuck You one of these days?!

In the Spartacus thread they are using the @ as a harassment tool. They are likely to be gone by morning. On site stuff the midnight misogynist is back. No question they are trying to destroy the place and the women are just collateral damage.

Another lurker checking in.
I am so grateful to all those eloquent and clever women who have gone before me. I have been reading FWR and thinking about the issues for around the past 2 years now... and have been taking these and discussing them in RL. Referencing MN and encouraging others to come here and read up for themselves.
So keep at it you all, you are not shouting in to the void. There are many more like me out there and we are istening
