You beat someone up, and you boast about it in Twitter? This indicates you are either:

1. Incredibly dim
2. So self centred that you genuinely believe there are no consequences for your actions.

It was the bragging about the crime on twitter that appears to have been too much for the employer.

Just... what’s the thought process? Three against one in a bar fight and you openly brag about it on social media? I can’t grasp how anyone would think they would escape without consequence. Especially in the USA, where so many states are right-to-work.

Absolutely. You see this so often with transactivists and trans allies. They cannot compute that they might not be right. Even in purely factual things.

Was trying to explain this incident and the various activities of Tara Wolf to DH last night. People act like this when they think they have so much societal approval behind them that the legal system will go easy on them in the unlikely event that they're charged with anything rather than given hearty congratulations and a parade. It's the result of refusing to talk to anyone outside your bubble for a long, long time.

This is how strong the slur TERF has become in those circle. If a woman is branded as one, all violence towards her will be seen as deserved.

This is awful hopefully the victim has some good real life support. I won't hold my breath waiting for the LGBT orgs to speak out about this uptick in Lesbian bashing that seems to be so in vogue within their own movement suddenly.

It's things like this that bug me about the femanist board. I feel it needs to be on the main boards under violence against women. This should be shouted about, everyone should know what's going on. At the moment it's just dismissed as fringe but it really shouldn't.

This isn't a criticism at you OP, it would quickly get moved, hijacked or deleted if it was there. I just find it scary how much violence against women is getting ignored.
