Transwomen, we are told, are a harmless bunch. No harm to anyone, most oppressed on the planet.

Yet...

"Bashing to death" (a male), yes, seems a totally female crime and all.

Seriously, Jade is doing it wrong. We mere females generally need to use a weapon to level the playing field.

Really don't want you in our spaces Jade, if you can bash a male to death.

TRAs are the ones making this claim. I see no reason to believe it. They need to prove it, not anyone else.
Thanks Eresh

The TRA tag-team are rather boring really. TRAs have been spinning the line that All Genuine Transwomen (whatever that means) are harmless fluffy kittens that should be welcomed into our spaces. I refute that claim, as more and more of these cases arise. My position is that they retain the same male pattern violence and offending rates as other males, and should therefore NOT be in our spaces.

Incidentally here is Andrew Gilligan - journalist wot wrote the pieces in the Times on this - defending the Fair Play estimates. twitter.com/mragilligan/status/933810495215362048?s=20

Thanks for your response LaSqrrl is that what would happen in England? It makes sense to me but the legal system can get a bit out of whack at times.

I believe Ian Huntley wanted to self ID in the belief he would be sent to a female prison.

I meant the first words of the TV report :
"It's usually her NRL brother under the spotlight but today it was Jade Walker's turn."
It sounds like the lead in to a report about an achievement, not a murder.

It is a flawed piece of research conducted and published by an anti-trans website.

Two problems with this statement. The assertion that the research is flawed because of who did the head count in the publicly available documents. The assertion that Feminists and women's rights advocates are "anti-trans".
I understand this is the latest frame for doing the DARVO dance but I would like to point out that the obvious sub text is that transgender advocacy is an MRA movement.

Another one

A TRANSGENDER woman charged with robbing an 85-year-old man at Westfield Knox is in custody, facing 100 charges relating to crimes dating back to January.

Rhianna Austin, 24, whose name was originally listed as Graeme Austin on court documents, allegedly demanded the elderly man hand over his wallet in a lower-level carpark of the centre about 7.20am on Tuesday, October 31.

Knox detective acting Senior Sergeant Russell Church told the Leader the victim was on his way to meet friends for coffee when he was robbed.

Sen-Sgt Church said police arrested Ms Austin on November 1 after she allegedly used the man’s bank card at a Wantirna South service station.

Ms Austin, from Thornbury, is facing 100 charges in relation to incidents this year, including car thefts, unlawful assault, assault with a weapon, robbery, burglary and methamphetamine possession.

One of the many problems with claiming that any of these figures are flawed research is that TRAs consistently shut down any attempts at further studies (proper ones, not ones cobbled together by Stonewall, hardly a bastion of independent peer-reviewed study). If you persecute any attempts to do proper academic studies, then you can't really complain about using figures from the studies that do exist.

NATALT, Under Birds Eye.

Yes, I preface all comments with that.

I throw my hands up with this one, because I have been collecting statistical data on ALL homicides/femicides for AU for the last few years. I only have, on my beloved spreadsheet of knowledge, the overall categories of 'male' and 'female' (for both victim and perp). Now I clearly need to add a 'trans' column to BOTH.

Thus far I can tell you, I only have one in each (victim, perp) columns over the last few years. The victim of a few years ago, transwoman, killed by gay boyfriend, both were previously involved in prostitution together. But certainly not any 'higher risk' than the average female, given the circumstances. The only different factor, was the cannibalism involved, which seems generally, a very gay male kind of thing (think Dahmer).

I will probably be light years ahead on any official stats, that will put either victim or perp into female/male categories. Trans want to be special, to be noted as the most oppressed victims, yet don't want to be noted in the official stats as trans victims? You cannot have it both ways is my saying. If you want to be singled out in the victim pool, then you get singled out in the perp pool too.

Hi - how's the extra columns coming along?
