Urgent;I've had a phishing email re my donation to gofundme

Just checking my emails.1.19 pm, email from 'Nate' at the GofundMe trust and safety team requesting a copy of my government issued photo ID ,evidence of my connection to the campaign such as links to social media.
Failure to respond within 48hrs will result in the refund of my donation.
Checked GofundMe t @ c's ,states they will never request personal details.
Very worrying

I can imagine with the presence on Europe that they have at least a dedicated team to work our hours.
I used to work in a customer facing role for a US based company and I believe the more noise individual people make the more notice they are have to take. They are hoping it all will die out. Or their legal tem will step in and that is going to cost them money in operational costs.

They have some presence in UK (London) but it looks like their customer support team.is based in San Diego.

HAs any one had any response?
