Trans-identified male claims to also be transracial Filipino

Apparently he has come out to his family as a woman, but he has yet to broach the fact that he is also Filipino.

He demonstrates his Filipinoness by driving a tuk-tuk (pink, natch) around Florida, eating Filipino food and listening to Filipino music.

For some reason the media is describing him as a man, even though he has long pink hair and is therefore clearly a woman. Seems misgendering is ok if you also appropriate someone else's culture.

Nah you don't need any surgery to transition, it's more than sufficient to just say you are in fact a Korean man.

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Am waiting to see how the TRAs respond to this article...

AdalindSchade · 14/11/2017 03:18

Shit like this is gold. It shows up the total inconsistency of the whole concept of transgender.

Screepy · 14/11/2017 04:19

Where do these people get the money for these elaborate transitions and accessories? Shock

fartyghost · 14/11/2017 04:54

I self identify as American, can I have my green card now?

OldWitch00 · 14/11/2017 05:05

A few months back someone did a great thread about wanting to be Scottish. I found it very funny...sadly it was considered bashing and deleted. But it was very good.

Natsku · 14/11/2017 07:03

This is just brilliant, this is the kind of nonsense that will make people start questioning the gender aspect too. Twitter is being quite amusing about this already.

AdalindSchade · 14/11/2017 08:19

Rachel Dolezal peak transed a good friend of mine recently. She said that she always went along with the gender stuff because we have been conditioned into it for years and it was the 'right' way to think but Rachel Dolezal pulled her up short. I've just sent her this for a cackle Grin

BriechonCheese · 14/11/2017 10:31

Whenever I go to America about half of the people who hear my accent say "I'm Irish too!" despite never having set foot in the country. I wonder if they are TransIrish?

TisapityshesaGeordie · 14/11/2017 10:43

Funnily enough, I realised yesterday that this would be brilliant way round Brexit - I'm trans-European! Attempts to remove my European passport and rights to live and work freely across Europe is dead-nationing me and is LITERAL violence.

BriechonCheese · 14/11/2017 10:45

Holy shit Tis that is brilliant.

TisapityshesaGeordie · 14/11/2017 10:51

I think on some level I always knew I was European. I prefer wine and coffee over beer and tea. As a child I could be found being impeccably behaved in nice restaurants rather left in a car outside the pub with a packet of crisps...

Actually, it's true, I've always felt European rather than British. So why can't I have that identity legally recognised, and the rights that with it? How is that different?

BriechonCheese · 14/11/2017 10:55

Tis I wonder if perhaps you found the continental weather more suited to your needs?

MadamMinacious · 14/11/2017 10:55

I identify as a size 8, but clothing manufacturers (the bigots) don't make size 8 in my size

Me too - let's start our own club and cry over people not recognising our slimness.

MadamMinacious · 14/11/2017 10:56

Not only am I slim but I identify as a cat - mine has a fine old life. i identify as a much loved domestic feline (slinky as per the above post)

doctorcuntybollocks · 14/11/2017 11:02

At 18.5 stone I'm transemaciated.

TisapityshesaGeordie · 14/11/2017 11:03

It's true, @BriechonCheese ! In my twenties I spent several months living in Greece, and I finally felt like I was able to my authentic self! I could finally wear the sundresses and sandals I longed to, instead of hiding away in jeans and jumpers. I could be the real me for the first time!

drspouse · 14/11/2017 11:08

In South Africa people do self-identify as racial/ethnic group.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_groups_in_South_Africa

This is because nobody wants to go back to the police identifying you using bizarre semi-torture methods (as someone I met said, depends on the weather whether my hair counts as White, Black or Coloured).

But a colleague told me this led to a lot of people identifying as White when their family were Black, then discovering that they weren't getting scholarships etc.

drspouse · 14/11/2017 11:09

Interesting thread here

mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/685214-Classification-of-Race

(I should really do some work...)

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/11/2017 12:58

I love these stories. I hope they reach a lot of people and they start making the connection with trans gender.

I've actually been thinking a lot about trans-race since the Apple minorities chief said that 12 white men could be a diverse team. If you buy into the gender changing agenda then she is right. If a man can be a woman then surely a white man could be a black woman and then the equalities chief will be out of a job.

MaximilianNero · 14/11/2017 15:49

"I know a ton of Filipinos & not a one of them but would be caught dead driving around in one of those"

Ah lizzieoak but that's because he's better at being a Filipino than cis Filipinos! After all, every good TRA knows that trans women are better at being women than all those other natal females, and the same principle holds true here. He should teach all the cis Filipinos how to be better at being Filipino, starting with a DIY paint your Tuk Tuk group session Grin

frenchfancy · 14/11/2017 16:00

I am 46 but feel 70. So I now self identify as 70 - does that mean I can draw my pension?

Gileswithachainsaw · 14/11/2017 16:04

No one understands im a 34 g trapped in a 36b body will Drs recognise my need for a boob job?

lizzieoak · 14/11/2017 16:19

Maximillian, I can just imagine the looks such offers would get Grin

It’s like watching Riverdance, enjoying a Guiness and figuring you’ve got Oirish culture sussed.

Bucketsandspoons · 14/11/2017 16:56

Seriously, this is just testing the waters. 'Trans age' will follow if the trans gender self identifying science and basic common sense shit is indulged. Wait for the pigtailed, stubbled, six foot three guy in frilly frocks who wants to enact his sexual age play relationship at Brownies and join the after school club. Which would be so much hotter than pretending at home. And it's who he is! Some children are six foot three and forty eight, you bigot. And that will open multiple cans of worms on paedophilia laws, as it will then get into 'some children have sexual relationships'. And no you may not say 'biological children' or 'real children' or have any activity advertised and publicised for children that doesn't involve self identified children who may or may not be bringing their sexual fetish with them.

The sad thing is many people reading this will think I'm joking.
