Are Genital Preferences Transphobic. I think Magdalene Burns response to Dennis J Riley warrants a stand alone post on here. What do you think? #theshining:)

Riley is frightening!! She deals with him well.

She both makes calm arguments in that video and adds those parody moments like the Shining one. I thought it was funny (and scary) , I don't see why it should be removed from Youtube.

I agree that The Shining parody was unnecessary. Magdalen's strength is in her dead pan, common sense, laser sharp dissection and delivery, she doesn't need cheap tricks like that! Madness that it's been removed, though, considering what is allowed to stand.

I have never seen an explanation offered for why the vitriol for penis embargoes is only ever aimed at lesbians and not straight men, other than the blindingly flipping obvious one offered when you see that it's straight up homophobia and misogyny. Has anyone come across such a thing? Where are the videos exhorting straight men to stop being such penis phobes?

A gay friend said he'd once seen a video of a trans man bemoaning the fact that gay men just weren't sexually interested. He said gay men just laughed and said "Wtf? We don't do vag. NEXT". There's no army of SJWs taking up cudgels for trans men to be embraced into gay culture. Because the whole thing is sexist AF and it doesn't work that way. It stuns me that people are so resistant to seeing that. Lesbians are expected to be sexually accepting of women, trans women and trans men - because lesbianism doesn't really exist.

I've discussed all of this hoo ha with gay DB and he said the same thing re: the trans vag.

I find the whole "you're a bigot if you won't accept a trans person in your dating pool" to be the height of entitlement - who would ever assume to be universally sexually attractive or desirable to all people?

TBH I also thought the shining thing missed the mark, made it seem a bit cheap and cheesy but I do normally really like MB's videos. Usually the humour is pretty dead on and enjoy the random music choices

Actually, it now goes for straight men now too. There was an article recently that said something like... Trans-'girlfriends' are better, because being born male, they have a better at understanding men's needs than modern women, who are rejecting femininity for feminism. Only straight men aren't buying into such gems very much

If it's what I'm thinking if though Rail that website is for trans dating so not main stream. They also think surgically placed holes are better than vaginas as they're "tighter"

The only mainstream legitimate articles regarding het men and tws I have seen are where "heterosexual" men are already in relationships with transwomen and the article says 'yes, he is really straight, don't be such a bigot' but at no time ever implies any other man should consider sticking their penis in a bloke

Apparently a 'preference for genitals (as opposed to, whole sexed bodies ) makes one a vagina fetishist. Homosexuality does not exist. Its a fetish. or people being bigoted. or both.

What's funny in a painful way is that Riley Dennis says that genital/trans preferences in dating are discriminatory/transphobic, while at the same time admitting they don't want to date men... Is that not also discriminatory/sexist?

Dickphobia or vagphobia is not the same as being transphobic. What about a man who says they would date a transwoman who had a neo-vagina, but not one who still had a penis and balls? Surely in that scenario it is the genitals and not the 'transness' that is the problem.

Coz despite all the shouting and wailing, they know they are not the same as 'cis' women. They know being in a relationship with a transwoman is being in a relationship with a male, and they do not want that. So..its fine for them to say no to transwomen but females (especially lesbians) are bigoted for saying no to them. Its crazy.
