Are Genital Preferences Transphobic. I think Magdalene Burns response to Dennis J Riley warrants a stand alone post on here. What do you think? #theshining:)

Highest paid 'female' directors are actually men right? Same with highest paid female CEO?

FerdinandsRevenge · 05/04/2017 10:50

Real coincidence despite the tiny tiny 'not even with getting worked up over' fraction of the population who are trans. So either men have got fuck tons of privilege or there are more than we realise

FerdinandsRevenge · 05/04/2017 10:51

(Point was that of course they have more money than feminists do).

Especially when so many females with money don't want to publicly identify as feminist because of the backlash. None such for trans activists

doodledragon · 05/04/2017 11:35

I've just watched this; best one yet.

I do not understand how hers can be taken down and Rileys is allowed to stay.

Riley categorically says that lesbians are transphobic just for being lesbians. Isn't that homophobic?

I noticed another trans woman, Devon, did a response against Riley, but didn't get through it enough to see why that's allowed and not Magdalena's. Possibly as M says out right that TtW aren't women?

doodledragon · 05/04/2017 11:36

(Apostrophes rubbish, I can't be arsed!)

cuirderussie · 05/04/2017 16:19

Which one has been removed?

Brilliant response!

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 06/04/2017 00:14

Sorry, I don't think it is brilliant. Or funny.
I can see why it was taken down.

There are many, many articulate and well argued responses to Reilly, all of which are still on YouTube.

Berns is starting to look obsessed with Reilly. It's quite clear from YouTube that almost no one, apart from Reilly's girlfriend, takes Reilly seriously. I don't think that Shining parody added anything.

cuirderussie · 06/04/2017 07:36

It's not one of Magdalen's best.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 06/04/2017 07:54

Each to their own. I think it does her no credit. She is capable of putting together a strong argument without resorting to being petty and childish.

MorrisZapp · 06/04/2017 08:05

That multi gender article is fucking hilarious! Do any of these people have day jobs? I'm surprised they get their laundry done in amongst all that identifying and pronouning malarkey.

Bless them though, they'll grow out of it.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 06/04/2017 10:56

Everyday Feminism takes Riley seriously. His videos are made under their auspices.

Watching the trans explosion and the Trump Russia scandal, it becomes clear that more and more we're being controlled by billionaires who move in the shadows. There's a lot of money slooshing around.

Datun · 06/04/2017 12:18

I must admit, I was a little disappointed myself in Magdelen's latest video.

Her USP lies in her incisive argument and not rising to the bait.

Riley's argument is risible, all on its own. I skip over many videos that take cheap shots. Because it weakens the counter argument.

Up until now Magdalen avoided it very successfully. I imagine she was just more pissed off than usual.

I hope she reverts back to her neutral, clinical dissection. It's extremely effective.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 06/04/2017 13:04

I agree Datun

Larryduff · 06/04/2017 19:45

Thought it was a brilliant response and some of his video was directed at Magdalen so she has every right to respond, especially as he's posting under the guise of a feminist. Depressing that it's been removed.

AnotherQuoll · 06/04/2017 20:43

Usually MB remains fairly clinical, and so that clip was unexpected but I think it's fair enough that she has a moment. In fact, he should think himself lucky that she hasn't really gone for the jugular, considering he's been attacking lesbians in a very personal way for a very long time. He's an utter hypocrite.

cuirderussie · 07/04/2017 00:42

Love the other response to him, the baseball cap jock guy who seemed slightly drunk. It means something that men get it too! I've mentioned this before but the only men I've met who are okay with everyone in women's bathrooms etc tend to be the trendy SJW types (which disappointed me). The blokey blokes tend to "get it" very easily and are horrified.

dementedcommuter · 07/04/2017 07:16

It's satire that's all, politicians and famous people are subject to it every day, why not trans people, the agenda Riley is promoting may have far reaching consequences for our society as a whole. Don't we have a right to question. Poor Riley shouldn't be on a public platform if he can't take a bit of stick. Magdalene is an iceberg to his snowflake in this respect it seems.

Also why does he have so much power on there? Was spitting image banned for similar. Havent we always relished laughing that those imposing politics on us, made fun of them?

Younger people need to awakened to all aspects of this debate too. If they are watching they would get that video the humouress bits. I've actually tested this out on some I know and the light bulbs went on. Perhaps we're not the total target market.

I am more offended by the actual hate crime that is allowed on twitter and youtube under hashtags such as #terfisaslur and want them banned.

Riley wields a lot of power

cowgernation.com/2017/03/17/riley-j-dennis-his-disturbing-control-over-the-internet/

I got a days ban on mumsnet the last time I posted even though I'm not aware that any of my posts were blocked. Will probably happen again today.

And I'm no fan of Hunters but he has many more followers than Riley but points out that Riley seems to get special treatment on you tube and thats the point I'm making. Other you tubers post about it in the comments and some start their video. Well this will probably be deleted but and similar. It's censorship

Things like these are exactly why the feminist movement is shunned and not taken seriously. True feminism is about fucking equality between the TWO, yes TWO genders. All we need to do is assert our worth as females and make sure we are heard. No need to become whining SJW's, spouting absolute nonsense at passers by. Seriously, grow up society.

KathyBeale · 07/04/2017 12:07

I'm new to all this and fairly bamboozled by the 'some women have penises' thing. Just wondered if it's only lesbians who have to sleep with women who have penises, for fear of being labelled transphobic, or if straight men do too? Seems to only be the lesbians being criticised...

Datun · 07/04/2017 12:33

Seems to only be the lesbians being criticised...

Exactly. Can you imagine straight men responding to the fact they're being transphobic for not sleeping with a woman with a penis?

Men aren't being targeted. Why? Because they're not vulnerable and because trans-lesbians don't want to sleep with men.

Since time immemorial lesbians have had to put up with men telling them if only they had cock they wouldn't be gay. Men generally find it the ultimate challenge.

Look how lesbian porn is portrayed for men. The lesbians might get it on, but when the pizza delivery boy comes that's when the action can finally get started, because without a penis involved, it can't possibly be an authentic sexual experience.

Transwomen see it as the holy grail of validation.

Makes me think of this ...
