Response from my MP re MM's gender identity bill

Gasp0de that second paragraph (talking about business or service providers making decisions... which they might not be able to do in future though if the recommended changes were made) is pretty much exactly the same as my MP got from her. The later stuff is different though.

I read "alleged" conflict with women's rights and my heart sank. And it's gone downhill from there. She just doesn't get it.

My MP hasn't bothered to reply. Not surprised, she seems incapable of independent thought and has voted in line with party policy on every single thing the Tories put forward. I hope she gets voted out in May, shes far too comfortable in her Toryland seat for my liking.

I've had a very neutral reply from my MP, expressed no opinion either way but says that the bill is number 22 of the readings that day and is unlikely to be debated.
I hope they are right.

I received mine today. It was effectively a compliments slip from my MP with Caroline Dinenage's waffle:
the recommendations for transgender equality are jolly good;
discrimination is bad;
we care about everyone; so
gender identity should rule all.

I'm going to respond to my MP to ask whether she's willing to put aside the waffle, engage her own brain, and think whether Danielle Muscatos at large in women's spaces in the UK is really a good idea. But I'll leave this till after the GE.

Mine still hasn't answered.
