I am long term lurker. I am Spartacus. Is this for real?? Is this a view held by... well, anyone?

The jist of it is thus: the term breastfeeding is inaccurate and triggering for transmen, so we should call it chestfeeding (also, if you don't you are a jerk, so ner). And, if I am understanding it correctly, not just for transmen, but for all women.

I feel so ... fffffffff.

Now John Hurt has died maybe there will be a flurry of new showings of 1984. It might make people think.

Is it supposed to apply to pre-op trans-women? Because I'm assuming post op transwomen want to call them breasts. Isn't that the whole point of buying them in the first place?

That was for trans-men too though, wasn't it? Transwomen have vaginas, transmen front holes (because vaginas are too womanly) and women have...god knows.

Still, as soon as MSM are hitting people with chest feeding and front holes over their cornflakes, it will be game over imo.

This feels as if some trans activists want women - cis women - to disappear. We don't fit in their narrative, so we are not wanted. We should be made to give up anything and everything to the trans active community, and simply not be, any more.

I personally find the word "chest" somewhat offensive.
My mother has had bilateral mastectomies.
She no longer has breasts, she has a chest.
She would love to refer to her breasts, but they're gone

Just when I was wondering whether 1984 would be shown, two producers are looking for an available theatre on Broadway to show an adaptation.

It has shot up the bestseller list after one of Trump's representatives having been accused of lying said no, these are 'alternative facts'.

After her comments thousands took the social media quoting the Ministry of Truth from the book -

I don't think people will make the connection to the transagenda without having it spelled out to them though. Because most people just aren't that aware of what is actually happening with the self identification thing and what it will mean.
