Here's a tip, OP. Don't arrive on a board and with your first breath start telling the membership what they are allowed to say.

Also 'I am guy' is making me snort. Are you wearing a mammoth-skin and carrying a club, Barney Rubble-style?

CultureSucksDownWords · 01/02/2016 19:07

I was quite hoping to be entertained by this little visitor, but he's either been banned already or been scared off.

TattieHowkerz · 01/02/2016 19:08

Ok, I'm up for a chat.

Can you recommend a good place to get a new kitchen? We were thinking IKEA, they tend to do well in Which reports. I've heard mixed things about Wren and I don't think much of B&Q. Anyone else?

SisterMoonshine · 01/02/2016 19:08

A conversation. About what guy?

BonitaFangita · 01/02/2016 19:10

I think this might help us understand the OP better

SuffolkNWhat · 01/02/2016 19:11

Tattie we got ours from Homebase, very pleased with it, DH loves it as he does the cooking in our house

AnyFucker · 01/02/2016 19:11

This isn't a very interesting conversation, Guy.

It's a bit one sided tbh.

SuffolkNWhat · 01/02/2016 19:14

A little less conversation....

Well you say it's windy, usual, but I'm thinking more blustery.

MsMermaid · 01/02/2016 19:21

We got our kitchen from homebase too. Dd1 loves it cos we can now fit in a dishwasher and the dishes are her job. Dh likes it too for doing the cooking.

TattieHowkerz · 01/02/2016 19:22

Thanks for the Homebase recommendations. We hadn't even thought of there- will check it out.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 01/02/2016 19:26

Cuntweasel with a flick-knife would beat a wank-badger with a cudgel.

Cunt weasel is smaller, but quicker, more cunning, and what it lacks in strength it makes up for in teeth.

Wank-badger is also easily distracted by its constant state of arousel.

SanityClause · 01/02/2016 19:27

We have an IKEA kitchen, and the drawers are different sizes to most other makes, so some appliances don't fit all that well. Just something to watch out for.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 01/02/2016 19:27

Now look, you've all frightened him off!

SanityClause · 01/02/2016 19:29

Also, fruit scones should be eaten with butter, and plain with jam and cream. I put jam then cream, but if you gave it to me the other way round, I'd still eat it.

HelpfulChap · 01/02/2016 19:31

I really wish I wasn't the same gender as you.

GreenTomatoJam · 01/02/2016 19:33

I like good cheese scones - but not ones that taste burny - like they're all raw flour. It's hard to explain, but I was really put off Safeways scones following a burny, claggy cheese one from there.

PurpleDaisies · 01/02/2016 19:35

Do you think we frightened him? Grin
