How can you prove that thoughts inside your head exist? You can't. This poor poor woman was forced to remain pregnant.

Umm, because I'm old and that's the Irish name for Ireland.

it should be Éire, but I mostly can't be arsed to do the accent.

Do you know what really irratates me about this, aside from the obvious? If the child survives it has a high chance of having some disabilities, and as a parent of a child with special needs I have experienced constant cuts to my childs education and care. All parents of children with special needs have. So, imo the states priority is not the child but torture of women.

if you are interested in this case, this is a really useful overview

Thanks for posting that, no matter how depressing it was reading it. That poor woman, I wonder if she'll ever get over it. It's unlikely her child will.

"Do the posters calling it an outrage and horrifying really believe aborting a vulnerable womens baby at 23+ weeks would really be a good idea in the long run?"

Yes. Yes yes yes yes. It was the final fucking chance for someone to do something that was actually in this poor woman's interests and yet again she was failed

This woman has been tortured

At every single step (including the rape) someone has made a decision that puts her firmly at the bottom of the pile
