Are they being ironic?

I didn't only speak about images. I spoke about perceptions, men's attitudes, spoken word, written word. It all adds to feeding the machine. It is all connected.

Do you even understand what the objectification is? It is about the way women are viewed. That is obviously going to be in large part about images and films. But then perpetuated by attitudes and senses of entitlement.

That's the problem if you are so fixated on the theory it dictates your responses. I don't think anyone on here is fixated on theory. We are talking about lived experiences and reality. You are the one denying that.

I know the word. Also, I know about the term objectification in a feminist sense of the term. I get what you are saying, even if you think I am a bit of a Kant.

I just am not convinced that images of women will change attitudes. I don't think there is enough of a link to make this a theory or define and pigeon hole all women over.

I like calendars too. I use a paper calendar (as opposed to electronic) at home as everyone can see it. At work I am obsessed with my electronic one. My life is in that. Calendars make the world to round (or the family at least)

Black pens are the only way to go.

Yes I understand your theory!!! I don't agree. It comes down, again, what is tasteful? Do these images actually impact on the individual, society?
It's all in the perception of the analyst or the individual. And whether negative things in society are given one cause or another.

A pocket for letters. That is sweet. Unless you received bailiff letters, foreclosure letters, etc.

What's the point of explaining this again? There isn't. Bale/libertarianj/Dad don't want to get it. They don't have to get it. It doesn't negatively affect them.

Oh no - nothing like that comes to our house. We don't get narsty stuff like that. Invites and school letters and the like - they're stuck on with blue tack at the moment.

Continuity is everything bale, I agree.

Pockets are useful sab. I don't mind them. They owe a lot to gravity but I guess for warmth and storage they are pretty good.
