Please can we repeat the earlier success and see if we can get Amazon to remove this from sale foul

Doctrine mentioned it on the earlier thread but I felt like we needed a bit more focus. Should I post in chat too?

I have emailed already.

Me:www.amazon.co.uk/Keep-Black-Jersey-T-Shirt-Heather/dp/B007DO82OM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362175780&sr=8-1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

Is this link to the item better?

Piyush:Thanks for this

In order to address this issue I will need to look into this for you. You will be contacted back in 3 business days

Me:Can I warn you that the good women (and men) of Mumsnet have seen this shirt and are disgusted by it?

Piyush:I will transfer your query to the concerned team and they will email you shortly

Me:Have you ever tried to put "rape" in the Amazon search box?

The amount of products you sell glorifying rape is astounding.

Piyush:I will pass your complaint to the concerned department and they will email you

Who buys these sorts of products? DVD's depicting rape and one that even says 'real rape.' It takes a lot to shock me, but I really am shocked at one of the biggest and well known online retailers in the world selling these kinds of products.

Shocking, in every way.

Log on to Amazon and click on contact us, call and report. I just did and was told it will be removed within 24 hours. Unfortunately I had to put it 'in my basket' so they could track the seller, and then delete I hasten to add.

I'm also emailing Jeff and have just cancelled my furby order that I placed this evening.

Me:Can you tell me Amazons policy on the products it sells? I.e, do they allow their independent sellers to sell/promote whatever they want?
Anil:Yes. The sellers can list the items which they prefer. However, we won't allow counterfeit items.
Me:Of course not. Counterfeit items would be deplorable.
I notice your policy does not extend to products depicting the rape and abduction of women?
T-shirts advocating 'Keep calm and rape a lot'
Graphic stories that detail the abduction and rape of children?
All of these are okay as far as amazon is concerned, as long as they are not counterfeit?

I bet Anil tells you that they'll email you withing 3 days...

I've emailed Amazon, I will not spend a penny with them until it's removed. I have also emailed a few newsdesks.

I've reported it as well, and said "shame on you" for stocking them.

I am guessing that many of the books fall within the 'misery lit' or 'fantasy' topics, although why anyone would want to read them, is utterly beyond me.

What about putting a comment on their twitter account?

(I don't have twitter so. I don't know if this would be useful or not)

Wtf?!
That is vile.
That t-shirt takes the Keep Calm crap to a whole new level of unfunny and is also disgusting and offensive.
Who would buy that?!

I've left a negative review and reported it.

India Knight has just RTed it, as have many feminist groups. I think that Amazon are likely to start paying attention now

does anyone actually know any man who would wear this? Even in an "ironic, post modern" way (please note my ">>" there)
my short poll (admittedly of one DH) was so horrified he's tweeted about it as well.
