when you engage with the trolls

. . . is it a personal thing (actually engaging emotionally) or are you communicating with a wider, more silent audience or are there other motivations?

I can't work out why more people don't ignore them, but every now and then the exchanges are unintentionally funny or interesting - although mostly it gets very dull very quickly. Wondering what's in it for them too.

PMSL at allegations for more reason than one.

Yes MrsReasonable troll hunting is frowned upon. The course of action is to alert MNHQ - I understand the rules thank you Smile.

The feminist section gets more than its fair share of trolls, sock puppets, derailers, disruptors and people who think it is fun to bait the feminists. They are all so obvious Smile.

oh, give over Bob

you are 1) looking very silly, or 2) protesting too much

which is it ?

Beachcomber · 05/09/2011 11:17

Of course the trolls we get in the feminist section are very careful to abide by the talk rule of no personal attack so that their posts can't be deleted.

They do misrepresent and lie about other posters left right and centre though.

That behaviour is in no way limited to trolls, Beachcomber.

AnyFucker · 05/09/2011 11:20

bob, why does the opinion of a bunch of women you have never met bother you so much ?

and yes, this thread is all about you, because you are dominating it at this juncture

Beachcomber · 05/09/2011 11:21

No it isn't is it MrsReasonable? We get quite a lot of it on the feminist section Smile.
