I've been thinking of some:
Sassy
Feisty
Hysterical
Gossip
Strident
Mumtrepeneur
Career woman
Slut

These are used to describe women having an opinion, working or having sex. I can't think of male equvilents.

I've heard bitch used many times about men. But usually if they're gossiping (both considered female 'traits'). :(

Words that are used for both, but in different ways:

Dog = ugly woman
Dog = cunning, manipulative man, but in an admired way (you sly dog!)

some of these words could be used for men..high maintenance for example, but they are derogatory words and therefore used as a put down, usually but not always by men, about women
equally there are words used primarily to insult men such as
wimp
nerd
geek
mummys boy

There's also the male equivalent of MILF, but you hardly ever hear people commenting on what a DILF someone is...

On political representation:
patronising special treatment
on their own merits
best person for the job
This is always accompanied by absolutely no analysis of why there are so few women in political power.
