These are used to describe women having an opinion, working or having sex. I can't think of male equvilents.

Dog = ugly woman
Dog = cunning, manipulative man, but in an admired way (you sly dog!)

some of these words could be used for men..high maintenance for example, but they are derogatory words and therefore used as a put down, usually but not always by men, about women
equally there are words used primarily to insult men such as
wimp
nerd
geek
mummys boy
