How lovely are your armpits?

Anyone else pissed off by advertisers' constant need to cause paranoia and fear to sell their products?

Because apparently, 100% of women don't like their armpits. (Who do they ask?) And if you have lovely armpits, it makes you feel confident and every success in life will be yours. FFS. Hmm

my are as hairless as a toddlers well, shaving stubble. what do they mean by nice armpits ??

did anyone see crimson petal & the white I kept gettign flashes of her armpit hair & thought 'Ooh, ' everytime wierd how subconciously its instilled.

Mine are fab thank you for asking!

I find it hard to get worked up over ad campaigns. K never ever take any notice of them (unless they involve chocolate).

The only ad campaign I remember is the one with the naked man with a stilettoed foot hovering suggestively above his bum and the words 'put the boot in'.... I have no idea what the ad was for but I remember the billboards very clearly! Prolly says a lot about me Hmm

Well, they're just kind of joiny bits where my arms join my torso. I never knew they were supposed to be sexy. I will make sure to wear a long sleeve top with cheeky peepholes over the relevant areas next time I'm out on the town.

I particularly detest Dove as they're "Oh we're right so on having models of all shapes and sizes in our posters" then their next step is to attempt to make women paranoid about their armpits.

I wonder what part of the body is left for them to target? Noses? Here have this nose-minimising creme.

women don't worry about their noses anything like as much they used to - in lots of books from 1920s onwards they're obsessive about having shiny noses and keep on powdering them.
they could bring that back Smile

I think women should worry about the relative lengths of all their fingers and go and get them trimmed/stretched if they are not exactly right.

the ads could say something like 'Worried about unsightly empty bits in your gloves?'
and 'I turned my fiance down three times because I knew the ring would draw attention to my hideous fingers, but now after £70000 worth of finger correction surgery I can finally say yes!'

you can have it done one finger at a time if you can't afford all of them. Then when everyone has had it done they can change the correct proportions and we will all have to have it done again!

I like my nose. I sometimes wish I had a nice big one though.

My armpits are lovely, especially now they are getting hairy as of this week.

I have nose paranoia too lol I got shot in the nose so im like 'oh what I used to be' which is probably exaggerated.

What?

I cannot recall over giving more that 7 second's thought to my armpits, which it the ocmbined time it takes me each day to wash, shave and deodorise them.

Apart from that, they are just there.

The ONLY bugbear I have about my body is that I am too fat. I am 3 stone overweight and if I don't get it off I'm going to inherit type 2 diabetes. My face, limbs, skin, hair etc is just fine.
