I have put some samples up on my profile page - so far I have done
Patriarchy YABVU
Mumsnet Feminists - Consciousness raising 2.0
Pillowed Laphounds from Hell
Spitting Through Our Beards since 2010.

WIll someone go and check that the pic is viewable?

Have you invoiced me SGB?

AyeRobot · 31/03/2011 21:10

Nice work!

And I am beaming from ear to ear that my rage-inspired "FeMNist" made it onto a badge! I still can't believe no-one had thought of that before.

Patriarchy YABVU is still the best, though. I did actually emit an audible chuckle at that one.

malinkey · 31/03/2011 21:24

I quite fancy one that says 'Laptop wielding harridan'

Not sure that is particularly feminist though!

Unrulysun · 31/03/2011 21:46

Patriarchy YABVU is inspired whose idea was that again?

Where can we wear them now that Feminism in London is cancelled and we're having to go round to Treacle and Elephants' Mayfair squat with an eight pack of Tesco Value lager instead?

suwoo · 31/03/2011 22:02

FeMNist is inspired too, TBF.

Unrulysun · 01/04/2011 10:38

Absolutely. Taking nothing away from the others which deserve 'nuff respeck.

I am slightly sad to see that 'mumsnet feminists: don't make us come over there' didn't make it because I think my own jokes are rofl funny and keep repeating them UNTIL SOMEONE LAUGHS Grin

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 01/04/2011 10:52

I take no credit for the slogans as I took them all off the list. But, UnrulySun, if you want one with your slogan on I'm happy to oblige.

ohmeohmy · 01/04/2011 13:44

badges arrived thank you.

snowmama · 01/04/2011 13:53

I am being thick...how can I order? Where do I find the paypal link?

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 01/04/2011 22:13

SNowmama: PM me for my email address and let me know what badges you want.

OP posts:
Unrulysun · 02/04/2011 19:20

Thanks SGB but I'll just have to accept my position of misunderstood comedy genius. Grin

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 04/04/2011 06:03

SGB, how lovely of you. I suspect it will be quite costly, but if you wouldn't mind letting me know, I'd be really grateful.

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 04/04/2011 15:43

Tortoise: Postage to Australia will be £2 unless you want hundreds of badges, so go ahead and order Grin.

Is 'Resist, DO Not Comply' an official slogan for any aspect of feminism? Just wondering about sticking some of those in the general-for-sale badge tray at the Fair on Sunday.

OP posts:
TunipTheVegemal · 22/05/2012 17:05

Have you still got the badgemaker SGB? Any chance of you firing it up again and doing some more of these?
I've given away most of my original set and would love to get some more.

TheWomanFormerlyKnownAsSGM · 22/05/2012 18:08

Me too!
and not just because I am the proud new owner of a number of Tunip's original buttons.

Takver · 22/05/2012 18:25

WIBU to buy dd 'Resist do not comply' to go on her school bag Grin

Takver · 22/05/2012 18:26

Damn, just realised that this is an ancient thread . . . hope you do fire it up again SGB

TunipTheVegemal · 22/05/2012 18:27

My dd wanted my 'resist, do not comply' and I refused to give it to her.
I resisted and didn't comply. Smile

Grumpla · 22/05/2012 18:29

I just remembered I never actually made my letter for the banner! BlushBlushBlush

Grumpla · 22/05/2012 18:31

But another vote for you to dust off the badge machine Smile

LRDtheFeministDragon · 22/05/2012 18:37

Ohh, I missed these first time around! I think I was busy being a non-MN feminist. I love them. Smile

TeiTetua · 22/05/2012 18:40

Yes, that banner--what happened? Did it actually get put together?

I was thinking of one of those elaborate banners that trade unions carry in parades (made by the members' wives, no doubt).

TunipTheVegemal · 22/05/2012 18:47

Only a couple of people ever did their letters and I didn't nag people enough.
