Am currently re-reading Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Great stuff. Also love Alan Moore, Jamie Delano. Anything on Vertigo, basically.

Anyone else?

TAFK got me a penult sling the other day and it spins round to the back, which is the way forward I think.
DP was in Africa for a couple of months and reckoned you never heard a peep out of the kids as the mums go on with work because the kids were always strapped to the back.
Unfortunately there are some quite big safety issues around where I live then usual. If you check out my pictures in my profile.Hence the extra safty stuff.

RealityIs I met Rufus Dayglo through some mates who work with him who is currently drawing Tank Girl and he is a wee honey.
Sadly I tried to look like her (tank girl) when I was younger, there?s one of the books that opens with her hanging out in Dublin and getting plump with too much beer, thats the only time I managed to resemble her.
Now where that suitcase..

Reality! I wondered where you were!

MrsB do you live on a boat? that's pretty cool!

He was randomly a member of a forum I was on once, and he made their main graphic for them, very talented man!

Once upon a time, me and a old mate used to sit in a bedsit smoking badly rolled fags and reading comics for hours when we were in our late teens with me best wonky mohecan hairstyle on.
Says I to mate
"Cor! wouldent be great to draw comics"
Mate to me
"Wouldent it be great to write them"
Ten years or so later he gets his first story into 2000AD.
My heart nearly burst with pride.
I crashed a 2000ad piss up a couple of years back (ran in after my mate like you do on the underground ticket barriers) and there were all pretty nice bunch of blokes.

I was a bit of a curates egg to them as Im a political cartoonist, but my roots will always lie with the old sci fi tradition.

Sometimes I think that some of the traditional sci fi cartoonist makes far better political points then the blantentness of the editorial cartoon.

TAFKA it is indeed a boat, and it looks like a giant toddler-killing device on a bad day, hence the need to set up check point Charlie several times over.
On a good day, it?s the closest thing to living on a spaceship as I can get.

Nearly finished packing.
Wish I could grab some of the recommended reading in this thread, as Grandma will take some of the slack with the baby for some proper and R&R.
Fingers crossed theres a comic shop in Colerain, nearest town to DGPs.
Aggghh run around, panic...
