If you're a fairly quick reader and you would like a review copy of my novel, Playing with the Moon, short-listed for the World Book Day 'Book to talk about 2008', I have some review copies to post out.

I only ask: that you read it and pass it on to at least one other person before the end of the month; and:

that you leave a comment on the site below, again before the end of this month, and, if you enjoyed the book, think about voting for me on the same site. Obviously if you don't enjoy it please don't vote for me (though the comments would be useful) but pass the book on anyway. I'm trying to get new readers (and votes if possible) before voting stops at the beginning of March.

I'm not on CAT but anyone interested can email me on grheliz AT gmail.com

Here's the link I mentioned above, which has more information about my novel and why it's been shortlisted for the award:

If anyone is waiting to read it, I don't mind passing it around a bit (as long as I get it back )

Anyone interested can cat me.

Eliza2 · 21/02/2008 12:17

That's sweet of you, squonk.

fryalot · 21/02/2008 12:28

Eliza, thanks for the book. Got it, loved it. Passed it onto a friend at work but now have it back.

Would anyone else like it? I don't mind covering postage.

Eliza2 · 22/02/2008 13:36

Glad you liked it and thanks for the support!

Some of these other novelists have big marketing backup (ads in national newspapers) so me doing my own little bit is so important and it's great to get some votes.

VictorianSqualor · 22/02/2008 13:39

I've posted mine to whizzz today, was a good book, not one thing went as I expected it too, I'm sure all those who have read it know what I mean by that.

Mikafan · 22/02/2008 13:54

I've just finished mine. Who's next on the list? Email me at peacemakerukuk at yahoo co uk and I'll send it off today

VictorianSqualor · 22/02/2008 13:58

I may have t start a spoiler thread on this actually, just to see how many people thought the same as I did.

my email is [email protected]

RipMacWinkle · 23/02/2008 07:48

Madamy - I think it would be easier for you to email Eliza or myself directly with your RL address so we can send you a copy?

RMW x

RipMacWinkle · 23/02/2008 07:50

Actually I've just re-read the thread. Is there a list or has everyone on wheelybug's list now got a copy?

Eliza2 · 23/02/2008 12:23

RipMacWinkle and madamy: I now have TWO copies left if you want to email me your names and address at grheliz AT gmail.com.

As before, I'd be grateful if people could read and vote (if they like it) before voting closes at the end of the month/beginning of March (date seems unclear) on this site:

I've just emailed you Eliza

oggsfrog · 23/02/2008 13:01

Am I too late ? I've only just found the thread and would love to read the book.
Eliza, I've emailed you in the hope that you may yet have a spare copy.
From here at the very back of the queue I'm hoping that some kind soul will take pity on me and send me a copy
