I recently read “Those People” by Louise Candlish which I enjoyed, although having lived with awful anti-social neighbours I found some of it a little traumatic. Really easy to get into though, short chapters flitting between different characters’ perspectives.

Thank you. Is it a thriller?

The Rumour by Lesley Kara
I thought it was a real page turner

lauryloo · 06/08/2019 22:16

The rumour as suggested above was brilliant. I just finished I looked away by Jane Corry, was really good

Mammajay · 06/08/2019 22:17

Gone Girl

GinisLife · 06/08/2019 22:17

Read all of Angela Marsons books in order.

Namechange3007 · 07/08/2019 07:59

Thank you. Have downloaded the rumour and those people.

Stillhouse Lake and Killman Creek by Rachel Caine
Follow You Home by Mark Edwards

aintnomountainhighenough1 · 07/08/2019 14:29

Have recently read and liked Sleep by C.L. Taylor which is good

LellyM · 07/08/2019 14:43

Anything written by Scott Mariani. He writes light thrillers all featuring the same main character. They are entertaining but after a few you come to realise they are all the same story (doesn't stop me having read most of them!!)

Avocadodance · 07/08/2019 22:28

Snap by Belinda Bauer

glenthebattleostrich · 07/08/2019 22:31

I was just about to recommend the same books as TapasForTwo.

The Stillhouse lake trilogy are brilliant, I read the third one in a weekend.

TapasForTwo · 07/08/2019 23:14

I'm looking forward to the third book glen

Alex Marwood - her books are loosely based on true crimes/mysteries

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 08/08/2019 11:26

loved The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley

Ellmau · 18/08/2019 11:30

Most recently I've been gripped by Shari Lapena, An Unwanted Guest.

All of Ruth Ware's have been excellent.

SeroxatBlonde · 18/08/2019 11:31

Anything by Mark Edwards in particular The Magpie trilogy.

Lucyslampost · 20/08/2019 17:50

Agree about Alex Marwood. Also Lisa Jewell's recent books

Autumn101 · 20/08/2019 17:55

I read Our House on holiday recently, was easy to read and some good twists

rosybell · 22/08/2019 14:03

Lisa Jewell - the family upstairs

Really easy to read and a bit of a page turner.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 23/08/2019 09:07

The Girl on the Train.

ShimmeryShiny · 23/08/2019 09:13

Michelle Campbell - She was The Quiet One

Hellomatey001 · 23/08/2019 20:48

"Sometimes I lie" Alice Feeney, well written, scary and with the obligatory killer twist.

"Couple next door" by Shari Lapena not particularly literary but utterly gripping.

"Behind her eyes" by Sarah Pinborough - now this divides people, it does touch on the supernatural but the twist is a true wtf moment!
