Hope there aren't now about 10 of these cos we've all opened at the same time.

OP posts:
AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 11/07/2007 15:06

And I think that's why Harry won't die. Don't think JKR would let someone who was abused so badly as a child be killed at such a tender age.

rosmerta · 11/07/2007 15:08

I think that's also the reason he won't lose his magic, he's just had too much to deal with in such a short space of time that to take away the one thing that made him happy would be just too cruel...

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 11/07/2007 15:13

So we've sorted it then. Harry is going to live happily ever after with Ginny and be the first international Quidditch player to become Headmaster at Hogwarts. They're going to have twin girls and then a boy. All with red hair and green eyes.

rosmerta · 11/07/2007 15:17

Finally! Its only taken us nearly 2000 posts to get there

So howzabout flibbertyjibbets new name then?

AnnieOleHouseElf · 11/07/2007 15:34

I is popping into all four houses to clean, but mainly I is in the kitchens.

MrsWeasley, would you like your coffee now, or is you preferring pumpkin juice today?

PhoenixSongbird · 11/07/2007 15:46

OK, I haven?t put my predictions down yet:

ALIVE ALIVE-O

Hazza
Ron
Hermy-own (I think they all have to survive, they really do)
The Weasleys, esp Ginny & Molly ? they?re too beloved and the only real family Harry?s ever known
McGonagall
Lupin (again, like Harry, too tragic a life to die now)
Tonks
Luna
Fleur
Madame Maxine
Aberforth Dumbledore (want to see much more of him and his goat ?charming? tendencies)
The Malfoys ? think they?ll all survive but somehow lose all their money. Lucius will stay in Azkaban. Sissy and Draco will get taken in by Andromeda and may not turn to the good side, but won?t be so horrible. Arthur will take Lucius down once and for all!
Umbridge ? alive but disgraced somehow

TOAST

Voldemort
Hagrid (sob!)
Snape (saving Harry ? bit of a theme this one!)
Bellatrix (what a truly awful character ? Neville will be instrumental in her demise)
Krum (loved someone?s prediction that he gets knocked back by Hermy and dies so her & Ron can be together ? inspired!)
Fenrir Greyback (possibly killed by Bill and Lupin ? payback?s a bitch)
Wormtail
Assorted Death Eaters

POSSIBLE TOAST

Percy ? couldn?t care less except for how it will affect Mrs W
Mad-Eye
Kingsley

PhoenixSongbird · 11/07/2007 15:48

PhoenixSongbird · 11/07/2007 15:49

Damn it, first time that's happened to me! Thought it hadn't gone first time.

skay · 11/07/2007 16:01

Whomping willow - Maybe you could get someone to magic the book to you?

Kneaslechick - Postie may even be reading your book if you haven't got it!

skay · 11/07/2007 16:15

AnnieOHE - Can you pop round an do mine too?

kneazlechick · 11/07/2007 16:18

lol skay - I wouldn't put it past him ... I'll have to keep an eye on him! I hope it's our regular postie as the relief is a lady who chats with everyone, she even goes in for a cuppa sometimes, so the post doesn't arrive until well gone lunch time

kneazlechick · 11/07/2007 16:20

Oh, and on the subject of Houses ... I think that none of the houses appart from Gryffindor get the credit they deserve, but that is understandable. I think I would be in either Hufflepuff or, more likely, Ravenclaw - not brave enough for Gryffindor and was quite a swot at school .

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 11/07/2007 16:22

I'm afraid I agree that Kingley's a goner. What about Mundungus - he needs to redeem himself somehow?

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 11/07/2007 16:23

Does anyone know someone they'd put in Slytherin? My old boss definitely.

AnnieOleHouseElf · 11/07/2007 16:38

Miss Skay, I'll come round later when I've finished at MrsWeasley's. That's if she doesn't need me to go and get anymore butterbeers.

skay · 11/07/2007 16:43

Can you bring me some Oak Matured Mead when you come.

Thank you.

kneazlechick · 11/07/2007 17:14

Hmmm, who might I put in Slytherin???

I really can't think of anyone. Not anyone I'd class as evil. I can think of a few who don't really fit in any of the other houses as they are a bit unpleasant, but then there are a few unpleasant people in each house I suppose. Justin Finch-Fletchley and Zacharias Smith aren't exactly described in the nicest terms but they are in Hufflepuff... hmm ... it's tricky when you start analysing it isn't it. I can see why the people who write the lexicon accept that some things are never going to tally with all of the references and evidence in the books.

MrsWeasley · 11/07/2007 17:19

thank you Annie, pumpkin juice please
you may pop to others if you wish but dont overwork yourself and tell me if they are cruel to you and I'll set ginny on them

I have to keep reminding myself that JKR only even planned the 7 books. She planned this before the first was published. She never really planned for an adult Harry.

Of course he wont die but he may not have his powers or may not have some of his powers.

I liked the bit on JRoss where he said is it true you have always kept your work and ideas locked away, Answer was something like "no in the early days, I left it all over the place".
Wish I had been her house elf

MrsWeasley · 11/07/2007 17:22

house I would love to be brave enough to be in Griffindor but fear I may be a hufflepuff!

kate100 · 11/07/2007 17:25

I'm a Hufflepuff too, I'm not quite clever enough for Ravenclaw and not brave enough for Gryffindor, but I'm definitely too nice for Slythrerin. My ex-boss is there all the way in Slytherin

SO Dudley isn't going to perform magic them? Told you I was crap at predicting

persephonesnape · 11/07/2007 18:45

I'm a proud slytherin! remember harry was going to be sorted into slytherin - and Tonks mum went there. we're not all bad. life isn't black and white.

where is the 'test' btw? sort us oh sorting hat!

MrsWeasley · 11/07/2007 18:47

I did one on a website with my kids once and it put me in Ravenclaw
