would it be an idea to have chapters for the spoiler thread(s) they'll fill up pretty quickly anyway, but you could have chapters 1 - 5 , 6 - 10 etc then theres no chance of seeing anything you shouldn't and you can discuss certain bits in certain places - or is that too anal..?

i feel a bit left out in the name changing. thats what you get for being potterised all year round.

Please don't shoot me, but I would be happier if Harry died than if Ron or Hermione did. What I mean is that I can see how she could let Harry die in a relatively nice, reunited with his family way. Where as Ron and Hermione would be leaving so much behind - not least of which would be each other! I don't want any of them to die but I don't think that is going to happen!!

This may be my last post before I go, so here are a few predictions

Lucius will kill Molly or Arthur (sorry Mrs W!)

Ron will kill Lucius

Voldemort will kill Snape

Voldemort will kill Peter Pettigrew

Belatrix will kill either Kingsley or Luna

Neville will kill Belatrix (Yay!!!)

Draco will kill Fenrir

Harry will kill Volemort

I'm not going to post until I've read the whole book, as I don't want to find out what happens accidentally and I know it will be all over the net from about lunchtime on Saturday when the first people finish and start posting about it.

I was also not going to post until after I'd finished it & wonder if threads by chapters might get a bit confusing? Plus will people want to jump around threads or just have one continuous one that we can chat on?

Percy Weasley - saving his mum and having a touching forgiveness scene before he cops it.

Bellatrix - killed by Neville and Harry in combination - maybe Harry's spell but Neville's wand, as I'm sure in one of the books Neville is really happy to have a new wand - unicorn horn I think.

Lucius Malfoy - strangled by Dobby with a chain of socks perhaps?!!

Voldermort - he has to die, surely?

Peter pettigrew - paying his life debt to Harry - and to Sirius

Harry - HAS to live - will feel very cheated if she kills him and as I've said before, if she does the whole Narnia we're all happy in an allegorical heaven thingy I'll be even more peeved!

Ron and Hermione - they've come too far and done too much and Harry would be nothing without them

Draco malfoy - little git but I suspect he'll see the error of his ways and he and Narcissa will join the good guys

Bandofmuggles - hope she doesn't kill Moody - he is such a great character.

I love Moody as a character, but my liking was based on Moody from GoF when he wasn't Moddy, so I don't know what to think of him as she hasn't really delved into his true self since. IYKWIM

I think Neville's new wand is in HBP cos isn't it destroyed in the duelling in OotP?

Keep changing my mind on who's going to live/die, Krum could die saving Hermione & Ron?

A modified version of one suggested by Califrau.

I like the idea of Hermione choosing Ron over Krum (in a romantic sense) and then krum later dying to save them.

I've been avoiding this thread recently as I'm worried too many of you will have got your theories right. I want to read the book and be surprised.

I only came on here tonight to show off my new name.

But cupcakes, you wont know if we got them right tho til you read it, so it wont ruin the surprise.

I think Dobby will kill Lucius too as he shouts "You will not hurt Harry Potter". I'm sure we've seen nowhere near how powerful the HEs are yet.
Maybe Neville's wand is the link wand with Bellatix (as per Harry and V's in GOF)?
Would like to see Neville happy - maybe if she survives he'll end up with Luna and he'll teach Herbology at Hogwarts and she will teach Care of Magical Creatures or something (as Hagrid is definitely toast).
Why oh why am I doing this rather than preparing for the interview I have at 08.30am?
