I had a thread ages ago and i cant find it now. From that thread I listened to all the Cabin Pressures and adored them . Most of Lian Moriarty although they aregetting abit samey now. Tiny Beautiful Things which was different and led me on to Lauren Grahams autobiography and my, her voice is doing me in. Shes a one trick pony. Im abit stuck now so ive downloaded The Paying Guests as i alwaysclijed Sarah Waters, should i have downloaded The Little Stranger instead? Can you still send then back for free?

I'm listening to the Harry Potter series having never gotten round to reading the books, Stephen Fry is amazing on it.

BBC radio 4 plays Lunch with Stephen Mangan and Claire Skinner. It’s wonderful. The only annoying thing is there’s another series after the audible collection has finished.

I'm currently listening to A Keeper by Graham Norton. Loving it. Would also recommend the Cormoran Strike books, Conclave by Robert Harris, Tin Man by Sarah Winman and Standard Deviation by Katherine Heinz.

The Gift of Rain by Tan Twan Eng - stunning
The Tattooist of Auschwitz - A story that had to be told and must be listened to/read. A love story and a horror story and a true story. It stayed with me for a very long time after I had finished it. Some moments made me have to stop and wipe away a tear. We really must not go there again.
Just finished How to Be Famous by Caitlin Moran. Although not quite as good as her previous books (in my opinion) it is funny and heartwarming and has two of the best sex scenes I've ever read. All men should read this to understand how to do foreplay properly (penultimate chapter).

Love this thread! Just discovered Audible and so far have enjoyed Big Little Lies by Lianne Moriaty, the Sally Lockheart series (brilliant narration) and Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman.

Many by Norah Lofts, especially the "House" themes, and the Knight's Acre trilogy.
Terry Pratchett narrated by Nigel Planer or Stephen Briggs (the couple with female narrators were less satisfactory to my ear)
The Aubrey/Maturin series narrated by Simon Vance (I listened to one by another narrator but my ears were "set" to Vance's characterisations.)
