What fan fiction are people reading at the moment?

I used to write and read a lot of ff then I had a baby... My fandoms have gone quiet in the interim.

If you like ff what are you reading - what fandom, fics, ships?

I love a bit of Arthur/Merlin. My favourite AU was deleted without trace sadly.

I do like Les Mis too. There are some cracking Enjolras/Grantaire fics. Try the tag on AO3 if you're familiar with the characters. I filter by bookmarks or kudos and there is a lot of sterling work.

Which sites do you use?

Read some okay Everlark recently too (Peeta/Katniss) but I don't usually read het.

I'm just ao3 these days. I don't have time for all the modding I used to do at the moment so avoid places where I can be tempted!

Not read any for a few months. Harry Potter has to be my favourite with Harry/Draco or Sirius/Remus.
Also like Suits stuff with Harvey/Mike but it's really winding down now I think.

I'm a one fandom at a time type of reader/writer. At the moment it's The A-Team (the tv show, not the film) but I've also spent time in Merlin, Sherlock, CSI, NCIS and Teen Wolf. I always come back to Supernatural in the end too.

Oh god yes, I loved some of the 00Q. Bootsnblossoms and Kryptaria had some gorgeous works. Can't remember names (why don't I keep lists? Too incriminating if DH ever looks through my browser?) But if I want to find them I just filter for the filthiest works with the most kudos on AO3.

I'm also in the heard-too-many-Tom-Hardy-stories camp (he is by all accounts an arse IRL, and I KNOW some folks with tales ) to go for Inception, but there are some interesting recs, thanks folks.

I don't write fic, just a happy consumer.

I used to love angsty Harry Potter fanfiction as a teen. I also wrote a very angsty Recess fanfiction which I never got round to uploading, even the most peripheral characters were crippled with angst

I'd love to write 00Q but I don't think I could get into Q's head. Merlin and Arthur were open books, and Harry and Draco...

I've written a couple for Suits in early days but I went right off Mike and thought Harvey deserved better! Love Harvey. Think they might get him with Katherine Heigl this season...

SilyDrawers I can see how real life Tom Hardy would potentially ruin fictional character Tom Hardy, but he was so hot as Eames. He wasn't as well known when inception came out to have spoiled the fanfic pairing for me.

Was he always such an arse or has fame made him worse? I know a couple of actor types who haven't even sniffed success but are nevertheless insufferable.

@feral I've a major soft spot for him in The Patriot. Guess I like him as the bad guy.

On another note though, I belong to so many different fandoms but strangely the only fan fiction I've ever been able to get into is HP fan fiction.

Always struggle to find any I can really get into because not many people write about pairings I like.

Even HP fan fiction. Lucius fan fiction is very slim. Unless it's Lucius and Snape but that's not for me.

I like Sirius FF but again struggle to find ones with pairings I like as not keen on Sirius/Remus and Sirius/OC stories aren't usually very good.

Ahhhhhh I haven't read 00Q for years - time to get reacquainted.

I've just googled to find the name of the deleted Arthur/Merlin au I read years ago and found a Dropbox link! It's franticsga's Be Resigned. That's my bedtime reading sorted.

I adore FF. I read an awful lot of it. I love Harry/Draco but also like Merlin/Arthur, Sherlock/John and 00Q. I’ve read a few good fics by Mottlemoth recently. They write in the HP and Sherlock fandoms and i’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve read. I also like Polomonkey’s Merlin/Arthur fics.

Any chance you could PM that link @ShowOfHands? I’d love to read it.

Currently now reading Things Worth Knowing by femmequixotic and noeon on the hd erised recommended further up thread. Loving it so far. Always been fans of theirs.
