There's also a new hogfather site to coincide with the dvd. You can ask hex, cure the oh god of hangovers & if you buy the special edition dvd you apparently get a special 'key' that unlocks a secret section of the website. Just had a look and cured the oh god (took 2 tries mind you).

I love Small Gods (I was doing philosophy at the time I first read it, so it was particularly pertinent).

But I'm not sure it's my favourite.

I have a soft spot for Mort, as it was the one I read first, and I do so love Death.

I think my least favourite would be The Colour Of Magic, although I do love Rincewind and Twoflower.

I also loved Interesting Times, Carpe Jugulum, Moving Pictures and Pyramids.

Anotehr vote for Mort...first one, and luuurve his description of Mort..a bag of bones all running off in different directions....

Kevlarhead · 25/05/2007 00:34

The Gollum character turned up for a cameo in Witches Abroad.

Small Gods is the best but it's a book apart; definitly guilty of literature...

Small Gods top, probably last continent bottom.

Lol at fancying Carrot, but that's not so bad; apparently Havelock Vetinari has a small select female fan club; personally I don't see the attraction.

I haven't read many, but I really enjoyed Going Postal. I just couldn't get into Thud for some reason.

I found Thud! hard going too. I think I'm just suffering Vimes burnout. Looking forward to Making Money though, should be good stuff.
