Does anyone else read these? I've just got Y is for Yesterday and it's made me think all the way back to borrowing the early ones from the library when I was at school!

I'll be gutted when I finish Z.

I've been with them from 'A', too. Just waiting for Dh to buy me 'Y' for Christmas, or for it to be cheap on Kindle, whichever comes first Grin

I think they've improved over the last few books, actually. There's so much process in them, I've realised that's what I really like, for some weird reason. I love it all the intricate descriptions of her activities, there's something very soothing about it. Possibly not quite what Sue Grafton intended but there you go....

In Real Life I don't have anyone who has read this series.
I really rate Sue Grafton, I enjoy the character development as much as the whodunnit.
I had a clear out and binned the early copies much to my regret so I am scouring the charity shops for those.
I am obsessive about reading series in the right order so this clearcut alphabet has made my reading life easy Smile

I have listened to YforYesterday on Audible.
No spoilers, I hope you all like it as much as I did.

I worked in libraries when A for Alibi first came out; around the same time there was Sara Paretsky, Val McDermid, and others who created strong women and combined them with powerful stories.
It all felt part of a huge shift in attitudes to women.
Thanks OP for starting this thread

IAm I've got them all from the start and Dh wants to read them but is insistent that he's not going to start until she's finished writing the whole series Grin
