Anyone else heard about this ? A group of women wrote to each other for support and advice for over 50 years using pseudonyms - sound familar?

It is a lovely book; my Granny was one of the women featured. She wasn't Ad Astra though; that's Latin for "To The Stars"- Mumsnet reminded me so much of the group of women that I pilfered her pen-name to use as my user-name!

I read this book a couple of years ago and loved it.

Was a complete joy to read and an amazing insight into the lives of the women in it.

Would highly recommend it Grin
