Is it me or is the explanation totally ludicrous? What mother would invite someone over for casual sex while in charge of 6 year old twins?

Yes they were very rare totally identical twins. No difference whatsoever.

It was okay, until the denouement, which was laughably bad.

All the way through I kept thinking that the author had written a film, rather than a book. It wasn't great as a book, but would probably be a good creepy movie.

Maybe a BBC drama in a few parts?

Oh, I'm totally confused with all these sister/twins books out at the moment. They're either being switched once or twice at birth or later on - or they are combining body parts from the two of them to make a third version.

but with regards to the OP, yes, I have met a couple of women who have their Tindr sex partners round while their kids are in bed. (they are not friends!) I gently suggested that this was unsafe and they looked at me like I was mad.

Glad I wasnt the only one who wasn't a fan of the book. I thought it started well enough but it wasn't fast paced enough; several things were raised in the beginning and it never felt like you found out the answers properly. Think if it had been written better/differently and I would have been hooked.

I read a little and then tossed it. Utter bilge.
