I came on this thread to say I'd need two books - The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August and also Life after Life by Kate Atkinson. I've been rereading them both alternately for ages.

The Seige by Helen Dunmore. Anna Funder All that I am. lots of fantastic books downloaded on my kindle. Love this time of year for reading.

Almost forgot. I re-read A suitable Boy. Even better the second time around.

I've enjoyed a few, but Fanny and Stella would be high up the list, as would Bitch in a Bonnet and Coronation Everest. I'd need to check back on the 50 book challenge threads to remember more.

Oooh I was thinking of "Harry August" as my choice too! Closely followed by David Mitchell's "The Bone Clocks".

State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. Beautiful genius.

Life After Life. Probably not the best in literary terms but it stayed in my head for weeks after.

The Time Travellers Wife for me. I am just about to start The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty so hope that's good too!

But am of fto look at Any Seaside Town - just the title intrigues me.
