Finished - only took 2 days which must prove something!!
Excellent I loved it & found myself picking it up to just read a page or two when I should have been doing other things.

The characters were so believeable & it was a really gripping & intriging story line. I am now going to read Amanda Jennings previous book & hope it is as good.

I love a good mystery and this book certainly did not disappoint. Extremely well written and gripping. Highly recommended.

Crikey, what a story. I could not stop reading this. I found it an intensely moving story. I don't want to say too much to avoid spoilers but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely reread it.
Thanks for my free copy.

I really enjoyed this book. The reader is kept guessing all the way through the novel. Characters are well developed, though I felt that Harmony was the least successful and seemed naive at times. I liked the flashbacks to schooldays with the use of letters which explained part of the action, though not all, to keep the reader guessing.

Thank you for my copy, it was delivered to my neighbour's house, so I only got hold of it last week. Very sorry but I didn't really like this book. I found the writing style clunky and Harmony was an insipid character, with a name to match. I felt I've read/seen several other novels/movies on the theme of childhood abuse, obviously it's a heartrending topic, but this treatment didn't resonate with me. I'm glad everyone else enjoyed it so much, give it a go, since I am in a clear minority.

I really enjoyed the story and found myself drawn to Will and Luke more than Harmony, who I'm afraid did not come across as a scientist in any way. I liked the way many events over many years were covered and shown to be part pod how and what was happening now, without it feeling like ' here we are with the next flashback ' to put things in context.
I did expect some of the twists and coming together of the story lines from each character, and in hindsight, I identified the wrong person as the main character.
I will seek out Amanda Jennings other novel too now.
Thank you for the free copy too
