hi, KAA can you remember who sends to you. I will give them a boot up the bum.

OP posts:
kickassangel · 27/07/2006 13:42

wigwambam - please post to me!
i haven't had a book yet for the 21/7 posting. (or the one before!)
my email is [email protected], please cat me & I'll give you my address.
presumably, katyroacks has at least one book which was sent to her? should this be sent forwards, or back to the original owner?

also - i'm going on holiday soon so won't be able to post between 3/08 & 20/8. If i get my next book in the next few days, i'll read it & pst it before i go, then should have one waiting for when i get back. will that be ok?

WigWamBam · 27/07/2006 13:43

Let me have your address and I'll post on to you, KAA - traceyparker63 at hotmail dot com

UCM · 27/07/2006 17:31

Glad you've sorted that out KAA & WWB.

Katy can you tell us the name of the book you currently have so we can work out who it belongs to and you can post it back to them.

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 27/07/2006 18:32

The last one I sent out to Katy was The Bad Mothers Handbook.

LuluandZooey · 27/07/2006 21:04

Just wondering what, if anything, anyone thought of the book I sent? No-one has reviewed it yet (not that I can see anyway).

I am crap at remembering titles. Was it Hide and Seek by Clare Sambrook? Something like that. Don't feel you need to write a great long review but would just like to hear if you enjoyed it or not? Presumably 3 of you have read it now.

UCM · 27/07/2006 23:30

I got a book called 'such a perfect sister' by Donna Hay and I still dont know whether that was a starter or a book that someone put in.

Right, Schoolmarms hat on (stop laughing) please put a review down, just to say you have recieved. Even if you didin't read. Ta

To my knowledge most of the books on this swap have a thread already.

OP posts:
MarsLady · 28/07/2006 15:03

Have posted the reviews for the 2 that I've read and have posted the book on to kipper22.

WigWamBam · 28/07/2006 18:10

Have done a review of Hide and Seek, Franny - have been digesting it for a while before I wrote the review. I couldn't find a thread so have started a new one.

nikkie · 28/07/2006 18:30

Sorry I am one of the people not reviewing
Will add something soon !

dewmeadow · 28/07/2006 20:13

yes miss, of course miss! Ive already reviewed all my books miss!!

FanjoandZooey · 29/07/2006 09:26

Oh thank you, and I am sorry to be a bit nagging by asking

I just felt like 'my' book had disappeared into thin air and I was really looking forward to seeing that other people thought of it.

PanicPants · 29/07/2006 22:51

I've reviewed my 2 so far, and I'm half way through Eden Close. So bresha not long to wait now!

It's funny isn't it, when you don't have a book around you have loads of spare time, but the minute you have a book to read, real life gets in the bloody way

PanicPants · 29/07/2006 22:54

Have just searched for a review of eden close, but couldn't find it. Does anyone know if there is one? It's probably my poor searching abilities.

If not I'll start a new one.

kipper22 · 30/07/2006 09:57

it's here Panicpants

fullmoonfiend · 30/07/2006 10:02

Frodofitz - my turn to apologise - I have been away and didn't get the last book posted for the 21st. Will post it tomoorrow (only 10 days late
Sorry for holding people up - really enjoyable book In A Dry Season - set in my stomping ground

fullmoonfiend · 30/07/2006 10:05

Also, would be interested to see what people thought of my book (the Red Tent)
I have a big confession to make. I chose that book because, although I do like it - I had 2 copies of it. And being a bit dim sometimes, when we first started this thing, I didn't realise we would get our original book back at some point. And I'm terribly protectinve of my all-time fave books. If we do this again, I'd send out Precious Bane, by Mary Webb. )

kickassangel · 30/07/2006 22:09

when are we next due to post? IF i get a book soon enough i'll post before going on holiday this sat. if not, i shall be very behind (sorry miss, not my fault, no-one sent me a book)

WigWamBam · 31/07/2006 19:20

I have sent your book, KAA - I expected it would have been with you by now.

UCM · 31/07/2006 19:42

Shall we say the 19/20th August?????

OP posts:
WelshBoris · 31/07/2006 19:42

Franny you can send now if you want

MarsLady · 31/07/2006 19:56

does that mean that I sent book 3 early?

Oh yeah! Oh yeah!

PanicPants · 31/07/2006 21:19

Thank you Kipper, have added a review so far.

And I;ll send it on asap Bresha

FrannyandZooey · 31/07/2006 21:21

Boris I am sorry, I haven't read it yet, only started yesterday and it is quite meaty and I am going to take a while, sorry. I'm not really very well this week and an intelligent book is a bit of a challenge for me

UCM · 31/07/2006 21:49

SmugMarslady didya get books today???

OP posts:
MarsLady · 01/08/2006 10:26

Why yes I did UCM. Two of them! Blimey. You lot don't want me to study at all do you. lol

So.... when my brain is exploding with all the Shakespeare I shall pick up one of these "wedding" novels and go like the clappers. Fortunately they don't look too deep lol!
