The Blood Doctor - Barbara Vine

It's a long time since I read it so can't vouch for the quality, but Secret Smile by Nicci French is about obssession.

I now have the song Obssesion by Animotion stuck in my head on a loop. 80's child

'Notes on a scandel' instantly came to mind.

I'm three quarters of the way through Until You're Mine by Samantha Hayes which gives a double dose - the run-of-the-mill person obsessed with other person and also has the recurring theme of total-can-hardly-breathe-desperate obsession of having a baby. Enjoying it quite a lot.

You could also look at Erin Kelly's The Poison Tree and The Burning Air. Great Thrillers. (If you saw The Poison Tree on the telly ignore it. 'Twas crap.)

That's a fact. But I can't stop myself having a soft spot for him.
