Adult / YA books from animal perspective?

I'm not talking supernatural, like werewolves or vampires, I really dislike that genre. I'm looking for books from an animal's perspective, preferably that I can buy on Kindle. I have found Spencer Quinn, and "A Dogs Purpose" which is a good book, but has anyone else found anything good in this sort of genre? I'm finding it hard to find quality books like this - I don't want 10 pages on your rescued border collie from the dogs perspective, I want to read an actual fiction book!

I read a book once called "House of Tribes". It's a book about different tribes of mice that live in an old house. Can't for the life of me remember who wrote it. I read it whilst I was at school so may be a bit younger than what you're looking for. It's one of those books that I've never forgotten and would love to read it again some day.
