My recommendations are all a bit kinky but happy to share:
Aishling Morgan - my favourite one is Deep Blue but all are good. Delightfully dirty with good stories. Look out for the 17th C Devon bodice rippers.
Penny Birch - modern day stories, written as if autobiographical by a really fun and likeable character.
Ann Rice writing as A N Roquelar (sp?) - sleeping beauty as you've never heard it before...

i'm afraid i'm moved to write an erotic novel based on the fact that I read the 50 shades trilogy in 3 days and whilst it was diverting, it was SOOOOO badly written and I got SOOOOO bored of her falling into a million pieces as she came whilst her inner f&cking goddess fanned herself on the sofa that I kept bursting out laughing. clearly i'll need to punctuate properly if i do though.

Do it, do it. It is not difficult to write as long as you can stop imagining your parents reading it.

What really pissed me off about 50 shades of g was that it was flagged up on here (mn) and when iwas shopping saw it and thought oh that'llbe ok and when i read it was astounded- what crap, Although when i had bought and not read and was told it was fanfiction to twilight i nearly passed it over to my 12 yr old- how do you explain that to them?

I read it on a plane yesterday. Biggest pile of shite I have read in a long time. Didnt do anything for me. She is stupid, he is a complete wanker. I think the blog says it all -and is MUCH better written
