Sadly not free, got to charge at least postage but £2.50 on paypal and you can have a copy of the anthology I co-edited 15 years ago. Various stories by various authors, pretty much something for everyone (and the authors include at least one music journalist writing under a pseudonym as well as several pretty good erotic writers of the 90s. All of whom are simply better writers than 50 shades of shit.

Sorry - to clarify, back in the 90s I used to co-run the Guild of Erotic Writers and we put together an anthology of good smut, which we published. I still have some copies left as we were muppets about distribution, and it is a Proper Book, perfect bound and all that, and I still sell copies of it from time to time. The authors include various Black Lace/Nexus big names of the era and at least one mildly famous music journo writing under a pseudonym .

I think the reason why I enjoyed 50 Shades though is because it's not a short story. It has a storyline (not the most complex, I agree... ) and I enjoyed getting to know the characters and investing time in them. It wasn't soley about the S&M scenes, although these were welcome ; I enjoyed investing in Anastasia and Christian's relationship. The sex scenes ended up being a welcome distraction in the overall storyline. Does that make sense? I'm not looking for a quick fix, I'm looking for a story, with sexual scenes, that I can get my teeth into! Any suggestions?

Anyone else want to recommend any (massmarket/not too 'niche') rudey books? I bought a Kristina Lloyd, Asking for Trouble and it was erm, quite pleasant. Does have a plot and decent writing and modern feel. Well it is Friday night.
