Blandmum · 15/02/2006 18:13

what is the book where some kids get some form of cute thing that goes to school with one of them. In the end there is a pop out finger and you get to say if the thing stays with the family. (I know I sound deranged typing this)

For the life of me I can't remember what the thing was, or the name of the book.

ds vomited all over it, but both kids loved it

DD (nearly 4) enjoys The Gruffalo and all the stories by same author, Topsy and Tim, Very Lazy Ladybird, Harry and the Dinosaurs, Disney Princess books, Little Miss, Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, more traditional fairy tales, and loads others. DD has literally hundreds of books - she loves them!

At bedtime we also read things like My Naughty Little Sister, Naughty Amelia Jane, Milly Molly Mandy, Horrid Henry and then stories from books with various longer stories in.

Thinking she might be old enough to start some longer books with chapters now - Magic faraway tree, etc.
