Recommend me a Stephen King book please

I have a new kindle. Yay!

I used to read lots of Stephen King when I was younger (Carrie, Salems Lot, Pet Sematary etc) but haven't read any of his newer stuff (er from 20 yrs or so) so if someone could be so kind and let me know which is a must have, I'd be very grateful.

I don't remember any squid beings in The Dark Tower.

It is a fantastic series though, well worth keeping on with, and it ties into lots of the other books too, in little ways.

DK's Intensity was fabulous. It's a shame he's gone off somewhat now.

Sarah totally agree, I read one the other week that was just so awful. A bunch of things thrown together completely incoherently - oh yes, let's put a murderer in for no apparent reason. Shame really, as I enjoy most of his others that I have read.

Will try again with The Dark Tower. I think I will appreciate SK books much more as an adult.
