I love inthesticks description of books, she is spot on. They are all the same and I LOVE them. My husband makes fun of me, but he is just jealous that I have a crush on Reacher. He is the hardest man alive. (enough gushing).

Tom Cruise would ruin it, there is NO way I would see any Jack Reacher films with him playing him. End of.

Well if JR's size is just a metaphor - what is the bloody point of the books then? This makes NO SENSE!
I am seriously pissed about this actually - readers invest time, money and imagination into the JR books and the faithful readers have been debating who would be cast in any eventual film for years - and Tom Cruise the pretty midget will play him?! Really really stupid.

I have thought Kevin Durand for years, or Laurance Dellalio if they could teach him to act. Hopefully the midget will see the errors of his ways and cast someone that the people who would pay for a ticket for the film would acdtually WANT to see as Jack.

Reacher can KILL people with his hands! Tom Cruise is a weirdy wimp! He's only about half the height too. Can we start a FB petition?

No, no, no!!! All wrong. Reacher is 250lb, 6 foot 6, lots of scars, built like a brick shithouse yet strangely attractive - nothing like tom cruise on any front!!!!

Have read every book, and agree all mostly the same - but Jack Reacher lives in my head as Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Someone make it so.
