Just discovered Twilight . . . . . . . . .

(waits to be flamed!) . . . . I am 36 and obsessed with keen on R-Patz/Edward Cullen. I keep re-reading Twilight and watching the dvd over and over. Tell me I am not the only one! . . . . . . .

Seriously, all of you who have found yourselves strangely addicted to Twilight and/or Robert Pattinson, do come on over to the TSA threads where you will find your true home amongst like-minded individuals. We giggle, perv, write our own stories, and generally have a good time. All welcomed, even those who think they might be Team Jacob

They are so cheesy, badly written, the message is horrible, and the movies are so lame...

i tried the TSA threads a while back and found it really hard to catch up [thick emoticon] think just cause they've been going a long time a lot of stuff people were talking about went straight over my head.

Just post a few times, Edward, we do make an effort to explain the madness if we know people are lurking! You will work it out in no time at all - generally it's just an awful lot of silliness... And smut. Always the smut

YES please come over to TSA! the beauty of it, you see, is you don't have to decide between Edward and Eric- you can have them both! We're totally equally opportunity fangirls, honest :)

I know it can all be a bit daunting because we have been going for 16 months a while, but we will welcome you with open arms, seduce you with excellent Rob pics and point you in the direction of some excellent fanfiction wchih will fuel your addiction while broadening your cliterary horizons :)

on a slightly more serious note I am completely bemused at the fact I'm a twilight fan. I've always been a big reader of serious books, and twilight is, in all honesty, not very good literature. and there are far better vampire sagas out there. But i think Rob himself (I know, humour me, i'm pathetic) put it best when he said in an interview that people just like to do Twilight-related things together. IN my case that's absolutely true, i love the sense of community twilight has created, both here and in the fanfiction world.

Another vote for the TSA! I lurked for the longest time, on and off, and in the meantime slowly got sucked into to daily Robporn googling sessions, to my shame, and twilight fanfiction. It sounds wierd. It is wierd and geeky and unbecoming to a forty-something like myself but a lot of the writing is just amazing and unbelievably addictive. Far, far superior to the source material.

Some of the TSA write too (I won't out them here, that's up to them) and bloody good they are too. It's all about the giggles and the smut but there's some busy ladeez knocking out some fabulous stories as well. And they do love fresh blood !

All in all, marvellous fun and new friends - what's not to like?
