What do you 'comfort read'?

When I am fed up, tired or just need something non-challenging, I comfort read books that I know may be nonsense, but make me feel good. My favourites are anything by Elinor M Brent-Dyer, LM Alcott, Terry Pratchett or Lord of the Rings. Anyone else have comfort books?

Me too Georgette is my must have comfort read at certain times of the year!! I also really love rereading Liz Young 'Asking for Trouble'. In times of enormous stress Malcolm Saville and Mallory Towers may be enjoyed but for top comfort reading it has to be for me.......Jilly Cooper!
